3rd Geneva Vascular Forum 2025

The third edition of the Geneva Vascular Forum will take place on Friday, November 7, 2025. Workshop «Complementarity of Techniques»

This hands-on workshop focuses on the complementary use of endovenous thermal treatment, foam and liquid sclerotherapy, aesthetic sclerotherapy, and phlebectomies. Participants will rotate through expert-led sessions with live demonstrations and supervised patient treatments, emphasizing best practices and safety. The program includes interactive modules on perforator vein management, compression techniques, and foam sclerotherapy, with contributions from leading international specialists. Endovascular Therapy of Peripheral Arterial Disease – Workshop 2026
April 29–30, 2026, Lucerne
This two-day workshop is designed for colleagues at the beginning of their interventional career. It combines a structured theoretical introduction with intensive, hands-on training using simulators and practical sessions in the catheter laboratory. Participants will work in small groups under expert supervision, focusing on endovascular techniques for the iliac and femoro-popliteal arteries. The program covers access techniques, device handling, procedural strategies, and management of complications. Led by Prof. Dr. Aljoscha Rastan and his team, the course offers an ideal balance of theory and practice in a supportive learning environment. The workshop is accredited with 12 SSA credits.

Vascular Medicine Update at USZ

Join the annual training program of the Department of Angiology at the USZ. The advanced training in vascular medicine with national and international experts takes place every Mondays 17.30-18.30 online via TEAMS (lecture will be recorded). The lectures are in English, if not otherwise specified. Each lecture will count for one CME point from SSA.
Grand Rounds in Cardiovascular Medicine

The Grand Rounds in Cardiovascular Medicine are offered by the University Clinic for Cardiology at Inselspital Bern as a year-round continuing education program. This university continuing education program takes place every Thursday at 7.45 - 8.30 a.m. online via Zoom. The courses are accredited with 1 credit each by the SSA.
